Shirley was an awesome lady who lived life to its fullest and never let anything bring her down--even after she was declared legally blind a few years ago. She had a zest for life which she wouldn't allow to be squelched! Shirley had an immense love of animials and retired from her "dream job" at Ralston Purina after many years of hard work as an executive secretary. She was a devoted wife and she and Bob enjoyed taking road trips together. Shirley and Bob didn't have children in the traditional sense, but her dogs and cats were considered her children. She enjoyed geneology and loved to knit and she continued to knit even after being declared blind. Her fiesty spirit will live on in the hearts of her loving family.

Friends may visit on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Alexander White Mullen Funeral Home from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be beside her husband at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
